Riceville Campus

New To Eastanallee?

We know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time.

You may be asking yourself questions such as: Am I really welcome? Will I be conspicuous? How do I dress? Will my kids like it? Will they ask me for money? Am I welcome if I am not sure what I believe?

These are all Great and viable questions!

Eastanallee Church is one church which meets on two campuses. Because not all people are experiencing life in Jesus, Eastanallee exists to lead people to be Worshipping King Jesus while Make Disciple Makers of all people. We want your visit to be stress-free and fun, so here is a quick overview of what to expect at Eastanallee.

What To Expect when Arriving at the Riceville Campus:

The Riceville Campus is located at 482 County Road 725, Riceville, Tennessee 37370. We have specially reserved Guest Parking just for you, directly in front of the main entrance to the worship center.  You will be greeted by our incredible team of people who desire to say hello and are ready to answer any questions you have about where to go or what your next steps will be.

If you have children who fall in the age of Birth -K, we provide nursery during the worship service each week. As soon as you enter the main entrance, look to your left and you will find our Kids Ministry check in and a smiling face to help answer any question you may have regarding your child.

We hope you will find Eastanallee Church to be both friendly and welcoming no matter what your background. While some people dress up and some will be very casual, just plan on being comfortable. Our focus is not on what you wear, but where you are headed in your relationship with King Jesus.

When you enter, you will be given a copy of Eastanallee’s worship guide by one of our Greeters. The worship guide has a bulletin with a place for sermon notes, details about ways to get involved at Eastanallee, a Connection Card that will give you an opportunity to tell us about your family and submit prayer requests, and a list of the upcoming gatherings you may want to be part. Our Ushers will help you find a seat and answer any questions you may have.

The Worship Service…

It typically begins with a welcome and announcements, followed by a meaningful and engaging time of worship through song and prayer, then as a faith family we seek to worship through the Word of God.  Our pastor preaches an expositional message through a Biblical text that is meant to lead you to be INFORMEDof the Gospel of Jesus and to be INSTRUCTEDin living a gospel-centered life. So that, you will have the foundations needed to begin INVESTINGyour life as a disciple of Jesus in the body of Christ, the church, and INVOLVINGyourself with the advancement of the gospel both locally and globally, for the Glory of God. The talk will last around 40 minutes, followed by a song of response for you to be able to pray and an opportunity for people to respond in faith to Jesus. There will be an opportunity for people to worship through giving an offering during each service, but as our guest, we do not expect you to give financially unless you feel lead to do so.

The musical worship…

Eastanallee Church is mostly blended with a more contemporary approach (drums, guitars, keyboard, wind instruments, and vocalists). The worship team does a great job leading and you will enjoy learning new songs while occasionally singing some old favorites. The mission of the worship team is to use the tool of music to encourage a lifestyle of gospel-centered worship, while inspiring the body of Christ to Worship King Jesus with all that we have, while Making Disciple Makers! Our musicians and worship leaders are regular folks who volunteer and give their time serving Eastanallee church with their gift of singing and playing instruments to King Jesus.

As soon as we dismiss, you are welcome to take the next step of your journey by participating in Sunday School. There will be another smiling face ready to help you discover a Sunday School Class that may be the best fit for you and your family. Eastanallee has Sunday School Classes from Birth all the way to the person “most seasoned” in the house.

After the 9:30am Worship Service or the 11:00am Sunday School, you can pick up your kids from their classrooms and visit with our Hospitality Team to get more information about what’s happening at Eastanallee Church.

Is there only a gathering on Sunday morning?

Glad you asked! Sunday evenings at Eastanallee is for both campuses to join together for Worship at 6pm. There is also AWANA for Kids K-6 beginning at 5:30pm. Wednesday nights are exciting as well. Student Ministry meets in the Creasman Chapel basement, Children’s Choir in the children’s wing of the main building, and Adult Bible Study in the Worship Center of the main building. All this starts at 6pm.

Don’t hesitate to contact the church office with any questions at 423.462.2620 or  info@eastanallee.church.

Is there only a gathering on Sunday Morning?

Glad you asked! The Etowah Campus meets on Sunday Morning at 11am for worship, then we gather at the Riceville Campus Sunday Evening for joint worship at 6pm, and AWANA beginning at 5:30pm. Before the service we have a time of Prayer for anyone and everyone at 10:30am. People may even arrive before then and spend time with God in prayer starting at 10am. Also, we have community Groups that meet at different times through the week. Here is the current schedule for Community Groups.

Students (High School – College)            Sundays 10am

Kids (1st– 5thgrades)                             Wednesday 6:30pm

Adults with Students (6th– College)         Wednesday 6:30pm

We will start new Community Groups as needed for all ages.

What Are Community Groups?

Another Great Question! Acts 2:42 we see the early church focused on 4 areas. 1) The Apostle’s Teachings (The Bible) 2)The Fellowship (Gathering) 3) The breaking of bread (more than just lecture, it is relational) 4) Prayer. In short, Community Group is where we experience life in Christ together. We hope you will join us in life.
