We Are Eastanallee

Abiding in the Word, Loving one another, Bearing much fruit.

Thanks for checking us out!

Life throws us a ton of options. Everywhere we look we can find a number of opportunities to be part of something. A team. A school. A job. A club. A gym. You name it, you can join it. Churches are no different, especially here in the south. BUT, I would like to help you know who we are…We Are Eastanallee. That’s right, we are not a place. We are not a person. We are a group of people who have confessed Jesus to be our Savior King and we are trying to live life in an authentic and accountable relationship in hopes of making much of JESUS! We are His people! He is our Savior King! We recognize Jesus’ mission for us to become disciples who will make disciples of the nations, as we go through life. Jesus tells us how we know if we are His disciples, or not.

Abiding in
the Word.

“If you abide in my word,
you are truly my disciples."

–John 8:31

Loving one
another.

"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

–John 13:35

Bearing
much fruit.

"By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."

–John 15:8

It is our hope and desire for all people to increasingly place themselves under the Rule and the Reign of King Jesus. As Pastor, I believe this can only happen when a person lives by the power of the Word of God, in the presence of the Spirit of God, while living in community in the family of God. The local church is God’s gift for us to experience the spiritual faith family. I’ll have to admit, at times families, and church, can be confusing, messed up, and even strange. That is ok! The church is simply a community of messed up people, that confess Jesus as King, and who have chosen to live life together. Being part of a church doesn’t make you perfect, BUT it is part of God’s game plan to advance the gospel of Jesus through His people!

The family known as Eastanallee, are just a bunch of jacked up people who desire to seek to become more like Jesus, hoping to advance the gospel of Jesus in our own lives, in McMinn County, and around the globe. I pray you can find some answers on this web site, that you have a great week, and that you gather with a group of people on Sunday to make much of King Jesus. If you don’t have a place like I described above, I hope you would consider us as an option and that I would be privileged to meet you here at Eastanallee!
