Parents,
It's been a while since I have popped in to check on you and give you a student ministry update and outlook! I hope everyone has enjoyed the holiday season, I hope you are all back in a rhythm with post holidays, and I PRAY you are all avoiding the sickness sweeping through right now. We (the Simpson's weren't so lucky this past week)! I wanted to give you all a quick rundown of what's coming up and ways for you to be informed and up to speed with what we are doing in the student ministry this semester. check out the "sections" below and reach out to me with any questions you may have! Notice the NEW remind link for PARENTS below! This will become a direct way for me to get info out to you in the days ahead! One way you can help me is by sharing this newsletter with other parents in the student ministry that may be "outside the loop".
Know that I have prayed for you this week and specifically that as we as a church family DEVOTE ourselves to God and seek him, that we would find Him and grow in ways unimaginable! If there is a specific way I can be praying for you right now, please let me know! I thank God that I get to serve God alongside each and every one of you!
Summer Camp (May 26th-May 30th)
This is going to be a great camp as we have 2 behind us now and the students are eager to get back and excited about what is going to take place!

Scripture of the Week!
We have started something new in Sunday School. For the last few months we have been doing the R.E.A.D. Method during our small group time. We have now asked our students to take this method and use it throughout the week leading up to small group by reading the weekly scriptures and then choosing only 1-2 of the questions listed on the weekly worksheet to be ready to answer!
Our hope here is to take our time of DEVOTION seriously throughout the week by giving resources and material to use. Also, the hope is to increase our growth in the Word and our accountability with one another as we abide in the Word together!
