Parents,
As this school year ends, I wanted to give you an update on summer camp and a heads up on summer life groups, as well as ask you for a personal favor.
Summer Camp: We are almost full (1 spot available), and we are getting extremely excited for arguably our favorite retreat of the year! I wanted to pop in to let give you some things that we thought would be helpful leading up to camp week based off of previous years! so check out that thread below!
Summer Life Groups: Check out the info below on our upcoming life group schedule! As you do, note that there is a "small gap" between summer camp and life groups. We return from Summer Camp and right into VBS week. (We will have fellowship nights across the street at the Creasman for students who aren't serving during VBS.)
Personal Favor: My one personal ask is this: How can I personally help or encourage you in being the primary "discipler" in the life of your child? Is it personal resources? A combined book study where we walk through parenting teens biblically? Is it a parenting conference/seminar? I am open to hearing from you but I don't want to do things you're not asking for. So please, respond to this email or text/direct message me and give me your thoughts please as we head into summer!
Know that I have prayed for you this week and specifically that you as a family are being DEVELOPED (that is ""Motivated out of the love of Christ to speak the Word of Christ, until we all become like Christ.") and that it would start with your family personally!
Summer Camp Theme Nights:
- We want to keep this simple and easy so please don't feel the pressure to go out and spend a small fortune like it seems we have to during "spirit week"!
The Best Sun Screen Ever!
- We use this on our kids when we go on vacation and it seems to be the best one! I am giving this as a "lessons learned" because each year someone gets "toasted" the first full day!

Summer Life Group Schedule
'Notice the prayer night and host-home takeover'
Prayer Night will be a night where we join the church wide body in a night of midweek prayer. This is one small way to integrate our students into the whole body that is Eastanallee. My hope in doing this is to encourage them (and you) to participate in our prayer nights even when there isn't a "student gathering" that week.
Host-Home Takeover is a night where we will "take over" someone's pool that will be mentioned at a later date SO MAKE SURE YOU'RE PLUGGED IN ON THE REMIND APP AND OUR FACEBOOK GROUP!
Scripture of the Week!
Make sure to be plugged in to get the reminders to abide in the Word! (Even if you're on top of it, this may be a good way to remind your child to get in the Word and be prepared for Sunday School).
Our hope here is to take our time of DEVOTION seriously throughout the week. Also, the hope is to increase our growth in the Word and our accountability with one another as we abide in the Word together!
