Parents,

I hope everyone has had a great start to the school year and I really mean this when I say, "I HOPE IT IS THE BEST SCHOOL YEAR YOU HAVE EVER HAD HAS A FAMILY." I don't mean that generally! I mean specifically best in every area: In their school and education life, in your physical life, MOST IMPORTANTLY in your spiritual lives! I pray that you grow not only in knowledge at school, but in knowledge of one another as a family, and MOST IMPORTANTLY in your knowledge of the Lord! I pray that God will protect your family this school year as we all know our war is spiritual and what a blessing and a grace to have the God of the Universe fighting on our behalf! Know that I love yal and I thank God that I get to serve your families, and I am looking forward to this semester and the so many ways God is going to grow us!

I have updated some info below for you to be in the loop as well as posted a great resource below for you or your student. Last night, we began this 2.5 year journey through the Gospel of Matthew, and this is one of my favorite resources for Gospel clarity in reading through the Gospels. We all know that the Gospels aren't identical in sharing about the life of Christ, so this book helps bridge the gaps. Click that link below and order one for your student and one for you as a family as we strive through this Gospel together!

Below are some Key updates on upcoming events and midweek information. Check it out and reach out to me if you have any questions at all!

Know that I have prayed for you this week and specifically that as we as a church family DEVOTE ourselves to God and seek him, that we would find Him and grow in ways unimaginable! If there is a specific way I can be praying for you right now, please let me know! I thank God that I get to serve God alongside each and every one of you!

Christmas Retreat!!!
That's right, Christmas Retreat!

This year, we are switching it up and doing a X-Mas Retreat INSTEAD OF a fall retreat.

The Goal of this is to look at "What the Christmas Season Means to us and Why We Celebrate It".

I will be posting the sign up link soon and opening the payment portal so that you can get that knocked out before the Christmas Season!

Scripture of the Week!

We have started something new in Sunday School. For the last few months we have been doing the R.E.A.D. Method during our small group time. We have now asked our students to take this method and use it throughout the week leading up to small group by reading the weekly scriptures and then choosing only 1-2 of the questions listed on the weekly worksheet to be ready to answer!

Our hope here is to take our time of DEVOTION seriously throughout the week by giving resources and material to use. Also, the hope is to increase our growth in the Word and our accountability with one another as we abide in the Word together!

So be on the lookout for the"Scripture for the Week" post!
